Police investigating social media threats against Pullman community

Pullman police are investigating threats made on social media against various individuals and entities in Pullman.

The targets of the threats include the Community Action Center and Gladish Community and Cultural Center.

Police said they have identified the suspect as someone who lives in the L/C Valley.

Investigators said that so far, they have no reason to believe that the suspect is in Pullman.

While the investigation is underway, extra patrols are being provided, including an increased police presence at the Community Action Center and Gladish facilities.

Anyone who is immediately concerned for their safety should contact the Whitcom Dispatch Center to request help by calling (509) 332-2521, or 911 in an emergency.
