Woman shot during robbery in Green Lake neighborhood, police say

SEATTLE — A 58-year-old woman was shot and injured in a robbery Tuesday afternoon in Seattle’s Green Lake neighborhood, police said.

Witnesses called 911 around 1:35 p.m. to report that the woman had been shot in the 2300 block of North 65th Street.

Police responded and found the woman who had a gunshot wound in her stomach. Fire medics took her to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

Witnesses told police that the woman was on the street when the suspect robbed and shot her, according to a blotter post.

Detectives are now investigating.
