3 men injured in apparent drive-by shooting

SEATTLE — Gang unit detectives are investigating after three men were shot late Wednesday night in North Seattle.

The shooting happened near Aurora Avenue North and North 96th Street shortly after 11 p.m.

Police said the three men were taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Seattle fire said a 30-year-old man had serious injuries and a 60-year-old man and a man between 25 to 30 years old have non-life-threatening injuries.

According to witnesses, the three men were walking when a white or silver car drove past and occupants in the car began shooting, striking the three men.

Witnesses said there may have been three people in that car.

CSI detectives recovered shell casings from the scene and gang unit detectives are handling the investigation.
