BREMERTON, Wash. — A pilot had to land his RC-3 airplane Sunday at Bremerton National Airport after his landing gear would not deploy.
Bremerton police said only the pilot was on board the plane and he was not injured.
Minor damage was sustained on the belly of the plane, authorities said.
The plane's propeller was built on top and officials believe that's why things were not worse.
The runway was not damaged.
The incident is under investigation.
