Teen boy struck by car in West Seattle

A teenager slammed right through the windshield of a car, then was nearly run over tonight - while trying to cross the street, when the light said "don't walk."

SEATTLE — A 15-year-old boy was struck by a car Monday evening in West Seattle.

Fire and police officials are responding to the area near Delridge Way SW and SW Genesee Street.

The boy struck suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and is being taken to Harborview for treatment.
