ENTIAT, Wash. — A stretch of State Route 97A has full reopened after it was closed after a mudslide near Entiat in Chelan County.
On Tuesday, Trooper John Bryant tweeted a picture of the mudslide and said a dump truck and U-Haul were stuck near Milepost 220.
Railroad tracks off the far edge of the roadway were also buried.
Bryant said the mudslide “quickly moved in and caught a lot of folks off guard.”

The roadway was closed overnight and barricades were set up on northbound MP 218 and southbound MP 233.
On Wednesday, Bryant said the roadway was fully cleared and open.
Drivers should be aware of possible roadway hazards.
