The city of Marysville launched a small grant program to help small businesses during the pandemic.
Small businesses are defined as those with five or fewer employees and whose owners meet low-income requirements. Qualified businesses can apply for Marysville CARES grants of up to $10,000.

Applications open Monday and the deadline to apply is May 18 at 4 p.m.
The money can be used for operating expenses such as rent, payroll or utilities.
