FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Police are investigating after a man was shot at a Federal Way apartment complex early Friday.
People who live at the complex near 32100 19th Lane Southwest called 911 around 2 a.m. to report sounds of gunfire.
Officers arrived and found a 32-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A witness saw someone running away the scene but the shooter has not been identified, Casey Jones with the Federal Way Police Department said.
Investigators are processing the scene and looking for evidence.
