Man injured in shooting in West Seattle

A 28-year-old man was injured in a shooting Tuesday in West Seattle.

Seattle police responded around 11:30 a.m. to a shooting in the 6900 block of 24th Avenue SW.

Officials said after an altercation inside a house, shots were fired by each man. One suspect fled and the other man went into the street and collapsed after sustaining gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the victim in critical condition to Harborview Medical Center.

Police are investigating.
