Man injured in Everett shooting

EVERETT, Wash. — Police are investigating after a man was shot Saturday afternoon in Everett.

Officers were called at about 2:50 p.m. to the Far West Motel, located in the 6000 block of Evergreen Way.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot several times, Everett police said.

The victim was taken to the hospital, possibly with life-threatening injuries.

No suspect information was made available.

Police did not say what might have led to the shooting.

The Major Crimes team was called to the scene to further investigate.
