M3.4 earthquake hits near Ocean Shores

A magnitude 3.4 earthquake hit 8 miles from Ocean Shores early Tuesday.

The quake shook at a depth of 21.1 miles at 4:11 a.m., four miles east of Copalis Beach, the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network said.

People reported feeling the quake in Aberdeen, Hoquiam, Copalis Crossing and Pacific Beach.
