Kraken to hold first-ever ‘Super Skills Showcase’

SEATTLE — The Seattle Kraken will be holding their first-ever Super Skills Showcase event at Climate Pledge Arena next month.

Fans will be able to watch Kraken players compete against each other in a variety of skills challenges showcasing speed, accuracy, strength and even chirping abilities (“chirping” means trash talk in hockey).

The full Kraken roster will be on the ice, and fans will find out which player is the fastest skater, who can juggle a puck on their stick the longest and who has the most accurate shot.

There will be skills contests for the hardest shot, shooting accuracy, trick-play, obstacle course and more.

Fans can also expect player interviews, celebrity guests, contests and giveaways. The Kraken’s broadcast crew will be live from the benches.

The event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 3 p.m.

Tickets, which are $10, go on sale Monday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. with proceeds benefiting One Roof Foundation.

Limited seating is available.
