Kraken fall 6-3 to Stars in Game 4

SEATTLE — The second-round playoff series between the Seattle Kraken and Dallas Stars now sits tied at two games apiece after a 6-3 win by the Stars in Game 4 at Climate Pledge Arena on Tuesday night.

Jamie Benn got things going for the Stars with a goal 17 minutes into the first period.

Dallas’ Thomas Harley, Max Domi, and Joe Pavelski tacked on three more goals in the second period to stretch the Stars’ lead to 4-0.

Seattle’s Jaden Schwartz answered with a goal midway through the period to cut the lead to 4-1.

With less than a minute to play in the second period, the Stars’ Roope Hintz scored a goal on an assist by Benn to make the score 5-1.

Schwartz scored his second goal of the night three minutes into the third period, cutting the Kraken’s deficit to 5-2. Adam Larsson added another goal later in the period to make it 5-3 Dallas, but another Max Domi goal two minutes later again extended the Stars’ lead to 6-3.

Game 5 of the series is set for Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Dallas.
