BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham Mountain Rescue completed its 55th response and rescued an injured hiker near Lake Whatcom.
The rescue happened on Friday around 9:30 a.m. Bellingham Fire and South Whatcom Fire responded, and BMR assisted.
The terrain appears steep and difficult to navigate.
It’s unclear to what extent the hiker was injured, but it doesn’t appear to be too severe.
