LYNNWOOD, Wash. — A hit-and-run crash shut down parts of I-5 late Sunday night.
The crash in Snohomish County brought northbound traffic to a standstill near 134th Street Southwest in Lynnwood.
Troopers said the hit-and-run driver caused a two-car injury crash. There was also a separate five-car crash in the same area.
Police said the driver responsible for the hit-and-run crash got out of their vehicle and ran away.
The fleeing driver was later found.
The victim who was hurt had serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
The driver was booked into jail on suspicion of vehicular assault (DUI) and felony hit-and-run.
All lanes were back open by 3 a.m.
