MERCER ISLAND, Wash. — A fire broke out at a home on Mercer Island Tuesday morning.
It started shortly before 5 a.m. The home is just south of I-90 on the west side of the island.
KIRO 7 News video from the scene showed flames coming from the roof.
Several floors in the home collapsed, according to fire officials.
Firefighters say the family who lives in the home is on vacation and no one was inside.
Crews were still battling the fire shortly before 7 a.m.
