A two-vehicle crash blocked the three right lanes of northbound I-5 in downtown Seattle.
The driver of a pickup struck a parked vehicle in a construction zone and then a concrete barrier near the Lakeview exit at about 3:50 a.m. Wednesday.
It took firefighters about 30 minutes to extricate the driver from his car.
The injured man was taken to Harborview Medical Center. His condition is not known.
No one else was hurt.
The crash was cleared by about 5:10 a.m.
