Driver killed in fiery Renton crash

RENTON, Wash. — Investigators say speed was the cause of a fatal crash in Renton Tuesday night.

It happened just before 11 p.m. in the 12400 block of Southeast Petrovitsky Road.

Police said a car left the road and flipped, caving in its roof. It then went through a fence, caught fire and came to rest right-side up balanced on a retaining wall and a motorhome.

No one was inside the motorhome at the time of the crash.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the car.
