TUMWATER, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol is searching for the owner of a dog who was struck on I-5 in Tumwater on Tuesday morning.
Trooper Guy Gill says the dog was struck by a box van and troopers quickly transported him to a nearby veterinarian in a patrol car.
Gill says the dog "is going to be fine," but added, "now let's find his owner."
Anyone with information about the dog's owner is asked to call animal services at 360-352-2510.
