FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Detectives are seeking information after Federal Way police found the body of a 27-year-old man who was fatally shot Wednesday morning.
At about 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a welfare check of an unconscious man in the parking lot an apartment building at 2211 South Star Lake Road.
A security guard found the body and called 911.
When officers arrived to the scene, the man was found dead from a gunshot wound.
Police said detectives believe the man was killed at a different location and brought to the parking lot.
