Deputies: Do you recognize this burglary suspect?

KING COUNTY, Wash. — King County sheriff’s deputies want to know if you recognize the man above who broke into a Taco Bell in White Center and stole cash from the safe.

Deputies said the suspect forced his way through the restaurant’s rear door, located in the 10700 block of 16th Avenue Southwest, around 5 a.m. May 15.

The suspect walked into the office and used a crowbar and reciprocating saw to try and break into the safe, deputies said. However, he ended up carrying a part of the safe out of the building around 5:45 a.m.

Deputies said he returned around 6:30 a.m. with more tools and was wore a different sweatshirt. The suspect then tried to access the remaining portion of the safe, eventually, he opened it and took the cash, stuffing it into a duffel bag.

Deputies said that Aat about 7 a.m., the suspect was startled by employees who entered the building. He took his things and ran.
