CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN — Crystal Mountain is preparing to welcome back skiers, but only for extremely limited operations on Dec. 4 and 5.
Because there hasn’t been enough snowfall, teams have been working to generate manmade snow.
The ski resort will reopen Saturday for Ski & Ride School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Because the classes are open to children as young as 4 years old, mornings will be reserved for the lessons.
After 2 p.m., season pass holders may ski and ride under the lights on Discovery and Quicksilver until 6 p.m. Season pass holders are also welcome on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Lift operations are limited to three lower lifts.
The resort will close again on Monday to wait for more snow.
