A two-alarm fire destroyed two homes Tuesday night in Seattle's Mount Baker neighborhood.
The Seattle Fire Department said it responded to a report of a house fire in the 3200 block of 37th Place South.
Investigators believe the fire possibly started outside in the back of one of the homes and spread to the other home next to it.
Fire officials advised people to close windows and doors to prevent smoke inhalation.
After a search of the two homes, no one was inside.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still unknown and under investigation.
Fire officials said the estimated total loss is $650,000.
