PACIFIC, Wash. — Officers with the Pacific Police Department said they made an interesting discovery when they searched a recovered stolen vehicle Wednesday.
“There were numerous ammo cans filled to the top with various calibers of ammunition,” a Facebook post from the department said.
Officers called explosive ordinance disposal teams from the Port of Seattle and Joint Base Lewis-McChord to test and dispose of a few incendiary devices that were found in one of the cans.
Investigators said some of the items in the car that were associated with a commercial burglary in Pacific were returned to the owner.
Other items are associated with a string of burglaries across the valley.
“We are working diligently to get all the property returned,” the Facebook post said.
