Bothell 3-year-old in stolen car found safe; police release additional video of possible suspect

BOTHELL, Wash. — An Amber Alert was canceled for a 3-year-old girl who was inside her mother’s car when it was stolen.

Faith Collins was reported missing shortly after midnight Tuesday, according to Mike Johnson with Bothell police.

Police said she was left alone in a car as her mother took another child inside their apartment near Bothell Way Northeast and Northeast 190th Street. The family had just returned from a friend’s house.

While the mother was inside the apartment, she heard the screeching sound of tires. When she went outside, she realized her car was gone with her daughter still inside, according to the Amber Alert.

Police were looking for the mother’s 2001 gold Honda Accord. Bothell police said the car was found in Snohomish County with the girl safe inside around 6:30 a.m. She was reunited with her mother.

On Tuesday afternoon, Bothell police released video of a possible suspect and urged anyone who sees them or has information on their location to call 911.

On Wednesday, Bothell police released another video of the possible suspect, which revealed more details about the clothing and shoes the man was wearing.
