Sacred Heart Medical Center was chosen because it is only one of 10 hospitals in the nation with secure airborne infection isolation rooms.
"There is no risk to residents of Spokane County by bringing them for care," said Dr. Bob Lutz, who works for the Spokane Regional Health District.
All patients are in stable condition, a hospital spokesperson said.
