SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — A woman and a small child were seriously injured in a multivehicle crash on SR 2 near Bickford on Sunday, officials said.

The accident happened around 1 p.m. on SR 2 just west of SR 9. Trooper Heather Axtman said that the driver of one car lost control in a hailstorm and collided with two other cars, blocking all lanes.
A woman and a small child driving in a Kia were seriously injured and transported to a local hospital.
