KING COUNTY, Wash. — A pedestrian crossing State Route 509 was struck and killed Saturday morning in King County.
Washington State Patrol troopers said a car was traveling northbound on SR 509 at South 112th Street when a 23-year-old man was attempting to cross the road and did not grant the car the right of way.
The man died at the scene, troopers said.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
