SEATTLE — Two 100-year-old houses on Seattle's Capitol Hill have been designated official city landmarks.
They are the Gaslight Inn on 15th Avenue East and the J.W. Bullock Residence on 10th Avenue.
Seattle's City Council voted to give landmark status to both homes on Monday.
The goal is to preserve them as close to their original state as development goes up around them.
The Gaslight Inn is currently a bed and breakfast.
The J.W. Bullock residence remains a private home.
