AUBURN, Wash. — A 20-year-old man was injured in a shooting Wednesday night in Auburn, police said.
The shooting happened before 9:30 p.m. in the 600 block of A Street Southeast while the man was walking.
Police said the man was shot in the chest area after a verbal dispute with a group of people in a vehicle.
The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center, and his condition is unknown at this time.
Police said the suspects fled the scene.
