CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Raycom Sports will preview the upcoming Atlantic Coast Conference football season this weekend with the ACC Blitz Kickoff Special, hosted by Tom Werme and Tommy Bowden.
Werme and Bowden, who host the ACC Blitz studio show every Saturday at noon preceding the ACC Network game of the week, break down each school’s strengths, weaknesses, schedule and key players.
The show includes player spotlights on Clemson quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate Tajh Boyd along with Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins and Miami running back Duke Johnson. Also spotlighted are the newest members of the conference, as players and coaches from Pitt and Syracuse talk about joining the ACC this season.
In addition, ACC Digital Network host Jeff Fischel will be joined by analysts Renaldo Wynn and Clinton Portis to preview the ACC's schedule and what to expect for the first week of the season.
