Western Washington finally getting some healthy air

SEATTLE — Western Washington is finally getting relief from the smoke and wildfires and is starting off the weekend with some healthy air.

Onshore wind continues this morning with a few showers over the area. There won’t be a ton of rain, but a convergence zone will keep some showers over the central sound today. Otherwise more fresh ocean air will continue to move in with a few showers here and there. Temps will stay below average in the upper-60s and lower-70s.

By Wednesday some rain will increase along with the chance for some thunderstorms. We could see some thunderstorm activity with scattered showers on Thursday and some increasing rain on Friday.
