SPANAWAY, Wash. — A fatal crash involving two trucks in Spanaway killed one person and injured three others.

The crash in the 500 block of 176th Street East happened at 9:03 a.m. Tuesday.

The white truck then hit a utility pole and a fence.

The green truck drove off the south side of the road and came to a stop against a Bethel School District building. No one inside the building was hurt.

The driver of the green truck was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger died at the scene.

The two people in the white truck had non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, Moss said.
