The race went from Geekwire headquarters in Fremont to a pub in Pioneer Square. It started shortly before 5 p.m. on a weekday.
Here are their results.
- The Onewheel motorized skateboard: 31 minutes
- ReachNow: 35 minutes
- Bikeshare program Spin: 37 minutes
- UberX: 41 minutes
- Lyft Line: 44 minutes
- Personal car: 49 minutes
- Metro Transit: 50 minutes
Though most of us won’t be using a skateboard to get to work, the results point to transportation apps being a successful way to travel while downtown.
