SEATTLE, Wash. — After dismantling the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday, 31-7, the Seahawks continue their road trip this Sunday against the currently winless Washington Commanders.
Not only are they going in feeling good after winning their first two games of the season, but they are also heading into Landover in style, wearing their all-white uniform combo.
According to Seahawks.com, this is the 23rd appearance of the white jersey and white pants combination. The combo first appeared 14 years ago, when the 2012 Seahawks, led by rookie Russell Wilson, beat the Chicago Bears, 23-17, in week 13.
The Seahawks also wore this exact combination when they defeated the Commanders in the 2012 Wild Card game, according to Seahawks.com.
Kickoff is set for this Sunday, Sept. 27, at 10 a.m. at Northwest Stadium in Maryland.
