Following similar announcements from the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Kraken, the University of Washington Huskies, Washington State Cougars and Seattle Mariners will require proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.

The Huskies will implement a vaccine verification system for all Husky Athletics tickets events beginning on Sept. 25, starting with the Huskies’ football game against California at Husky Stadium.

Husky fans over the age of 12 will need to provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event.

Starting Sept. 18, Husky fans can visit several on-site locations to have their vaccine requirements pre-approved for the remainder of the season.

The Washington State Cougars will require proof of vaccination for fans age 12 and older, beginning with home games at Gesa Field in the month of October.

Cougar fans that are not vaccinated will need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 within 72 hours of the event.

Additionally, WSU Athletics will mandate masks for all fans at Gesa Field, regardless of vaccination status.

Starting with any potential 2021 postseason games, the Seattle Mariners will require all guests aged 12 and older to show proof of vaccination at T-Mobile Park.

All fans aged five and older attending games at T-Mobile Park must comply with the latest Seattle and King County orders and wear a mask in all locations, unless fans are actively eating and drinking.

The Seattle Sounders announced on Tuesday a mask requirement for their Sept. 11 match at Lumen Field and fans must provide proof of vaccination or a negative result for their Oct. 3 match at Lumen Field.
