High School Football: Game highlights of Week 8

Check out some of the highlights from Week 8 of high school football around the region on KIRO 7.

In the Game of the Week, undefeated Yelm took down Peninsula, 58-14.

Cedarcrest and Cascade faced off at Memorial Stadium in a battle of two undefeated teams, but it was Cascade who would come away with a still unblemished record, shutting out Cedarcrest by a score of 30-0.

Ferndale beat Stanwood on the road by a score of 50-20 to claim the Wesco North division title, while Monroe clinched the South with a win against Snohomish.

In 4A action, Todd Beamer and Auburn played in a game that was scheduled for Thursday but had to be postponed due to wildfire smoke. The Trojans capitalized on several turnovers by the Titans, and Auburn came away with a 52-8 victory.
