SOUTH BRISTOL, N.Y. — A woman on a Bristol Mountain ski lift had a scary ride. Thankfully some quick thinking kept her from getting injured.
An unidentified woman had slipped from the ski lift Sunday and was left dangling above the mountain, hanging from the chair, WHAM reported.
The lift was stopped as soon as she slipped from her seat.
That’s when staff members jumped into action, holidng a tarp beneath her and caught her when she fell.
The incident was caught on video and shared on social media.

Bristol Mountain officials are investigating what allowed the woman to slip from her seat.
The woman was not injured, Spectrum News reported.
