BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. — Twin infants were found dead inside a vehicle parked at a South Carolina day care center on Wednesday, authorities said.
According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the Sunshine House Early Learning Academy just after 5:30 p.m. EDT, WLTX reported. Two infants were found unresponsive inside a vehicle parked outside the center, the television station reported.
Both children were pronounced dead at the scene, WIS-TV reported.

Police did not reveal the age of the children.
A cause of death was not immediately known, The Post and Courier reported.
It is unclear if the staff at Sunshine House is involved in the incident, deputies said.
Officials said the investigation is ongoing.
