SeaWorld to require visitors, pass holders to register before visiting parks

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — SeaWorld Orlando is set to reopen their attraction Thursday, but each park goer will need to “reserve your day” to maintain lower park capacity and better ensure physical distancing, officials said.

The park closed in March because of the coronavirus pandemic.

All guests at SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove must wear face masks and get their temperatures checked.

New guests are now required to register in advance with the SeaWorld reservation system before attending the park.

All visitor with existing tickets, Fun Cards or annual passes most also register with SeaWorld before visiting the park.

SeaWorld said people will receive a confirmation email after registration that must be brought along with any single-day ticket, Fun Card or annual pass to enter the park.

Registrations for groups are also being limited to six at a time, officials said.

SeaWorld said everyone in the party needs a reservation, but children under 3 do not require a reservation or ticket for entry.
