GREENE COUNTY, Pa. — A father in Greene County, Pennsylvania, has been arrested for allegedly abusing his daughter and burying her in the backyard overnight.
According to court records obtained by WPXI, John Edward Kraft, 50, is facing multiple charges including aggravated assault, simple assault, strangulation, endangering the welfare of children, reckless endangerment, false imprisonment of a minor and unlawful restraint of a minor.
Court records say one of the girl’s siblings allegedly told police that Kraft had buried her in the yard and left her in a hole overnight. According to WPXI, Kraft also allegedly choked the girl until she blacked out and caused severe bruising all over her body.
Kraft is currently in the Greene County jail being held on bond, according to court records obtained by WPXI. Inmate records said Kraft’s bond has been set at $125,000.
No further information has been released.
