EUFAULA, Ala. — An Alabama man was killed Tuesday in an industrial accident at a chicken processing plant in Bakerhill, the Barbour County coroner said.
Carlos Lynn, 39, of Eufaula, worked for the company contracted to clean equipment inside a plant owned by Tyson Foods, WRBL reported. He died shortly before 5 p.m. while cleaning a piece of equipment called a chiller, Coroner Chip Chapman told the television station.

The cause of death was decapitation, Chapman told WRBL.
“He got caught in a pinch-point of the equipment,” Chapman told the television station.
“We’re investigating an accident at our Eufaula, Alabama facility yesterday that involved a worker employed by an outside contractor and will provide more information when we can," a Tyson Foods spokesman said in a statement. "We’re grateful for the swift response and assistance of local emergency personnel.”
