A former Cincinnati Bengals star has been paying it forward, leaving large tips for servers.
Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson shared a photo of his receipt for a $14.29 meal at a Knoxville, Tennessee, IHOP over the weekend, WBIR reported.
He said it was his first time in Knoxville.

He also cited Proverbs 11:25 in the tweet. The Bible verse reads, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed,” according to the New International Version of the Bible.
Johnson was in Knoxville for the Tennessee Volunteers game against Kentucky Wildcats with his daughter, who wore a lanyard that read “recruit,” On3 media reported.

This isn’t the first time Johnson, who spent 11 years in the NFL, shared some of his fortunes. He left a similar tip at Stephanie’s Restaurant in North Carolina in August, CBS Sports reported.
