Betty White’s agent and friend said the iconic actress died of natural causes.
Jeff Witjas said Monday, “Betty died peacefully in her sleep at her home. People are saying her death was related to getting a booster shot three days earlier, but that is not true. She died of natural causes. Her death should not be politicized — that is not the life she lived,” People magazine reported.
The Los Angeles Police Department said it “appears to be (a) natural cause of death with no evidence of foul play,” Extra reported.

White’s death at the age of 99 was announced Friday, just over two weeks before her 100th birthday.
There had been rumors circulating on social media that she had gotten a COVID-19 booster shot on Dec. 28, The Associated Press reported.
The quote that was shared, saying that she had received the third COVID-19 vaccine, was fake, the AP reported.
The article that was shared along with the quote did not have that information in it, nor did any archived version, the AP reported.
