2020 BET Awards: What you need to know

The 2020 BET Awards are set to go Sunday, albeit in a different format thanks to the COVID-19 virus.

Organizers announced in April that the annual awards program would take place but will air virtually “using an array of innovative techniques and artist-generated content.”

The show will mark the 20th anniversary of the BET Awards and will feature performances by Alicia Keys, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby and John Legend, among others.
