A group of tourists to South Africa recently had to escape a white rhino charging at them and caught part of the escapade on video.
That's when the rhino began to follow the group, Boshoff said.
"At first, I just thought it's going to be like a short charge and then it would stop," he said. "The road had a lot of turns in it, which made it difficult for us to get away."
Male white rhinos can weigh has much as 3.6 tons and females can weigh 1.7 tons, according to the World Wildlife Foundation. When running, a rhino can reach speeds of up to 30 mph.
The rhino chased the tourists for nearly two minutes before giving up. Part of the pursuit was captured on cellphone video.
The tour guide said that particular rhino had charged tour groups before, Boshoff said.
"I thought it (was) going to eat us," Boshoff said.
