A Missouri man whose car was burning is accused of punching two St. Louis firefighters because he believed they were taking too long to extinguish the blaze.
Terrance J. Lambert, 24, of St. Louis, was charged Saturday with refusing to obey the signal or direction of a firefighter, a class-A misdemeanor, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
Firefighters said they were trying to put the fire out, but Lambert, who owned the car, thought they were working too slowly and began punching two of them, KMOV reported.
"This guy is hitting all of us," one firefighter said on camera, the newspaper reported.
St. Louis Fire Capt. Garon Mosby said the man’s car caught fire after landing on the sidewalk after a crash, KDSK reported.
Lambert was arrested and was released Monday after posting a $1,000 bond, the television station reported.
