RAPID CITY, S.D. — A flight bound for Sacramento from Boston was forced to make an emergency landing Thursday after hitting a bad stretch of turbulence.
The flight touched down in South Dakota around 7:30 p.m. local time.
According to KELO, 24 people, including two crew members, went to a local hospital for evaluation.

The rest of the passengers were transferred to another flight to continue their journey.
The Rapid City Regional Hospital confirmed that all 24 people hurt on the flight had been treated and released.
