TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma Fire crews rescued a person trapped in a construction trench Monday morning.
The rescue happened about 8:45 a.m. at 315 Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
Officials said the person was extricated minutes later and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
Crews did not say how the person got trapped in the trench.
