THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — Thurston County deputies say a man is dead after a shooting overnight.
It happened sometime overnight on Shamon Court near Rochester Friday.
Investigators haven't said what led up to the shooting, but later said the shooting was a homicide.
On Friday night, investigators identified the victim as 27-year-old Pedro Beltran Palomares.
A 38-year-old man was taken into custody. He was booked into the Thurston County Jail.
